WordPress 08 – Styling with Elementor

Access the Elementor Editor

Access the Elementor Editor:

    • Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
    • Go to “Pages” → “Add New” or choose an existing page to edit.
    • Click the “Edit with Elementor” button.

Styling Options for Elements

  • After adding an element to your page, select it on the canvas.
  • In the left sidebar, under the “Style” tab, you’ll find various options to customize fonts, colors, spacing, borders, and more.

Typography

  • Customize fonts for headings, paragraphs, and other text elements.
  • Adjust font family, size, weight, style, and letter spacing.

Colors

  • Change text colors, background colors, and border colors.
  • Use the color picker or input specific color codes.

Backgrounds

  • Add background colors, images, or videos to sections, columns, and elements.
  • Adjust background position, attachment, and other settings.

Borders and Box Shadow

  • Apply borders to elements and adjust border width, style, and color.
  • Add box shadow to create depth and visual interest.

Spacing and Alignment

  • Modify margins and padding to control spacing around elements.
  • Align elements horizontally and vertically within columns and sections.

Advanced Options

Some elements offer advanced style settings such as animations, blend modes, and shape dividers.

Applying Styles Consistently

Consider creating a style guide for your website to maintain a consistent look and feel.

Use a limited color palette and font selection to create a cohesive design.

Elementor’s styling options allow you to customize the appearance of your website to match your brand and design preferences. Experiment with different styles, but aim for a visually pleasing and user-friendly design that enhances your content.
